The Data and Analytics Executive Steering Group is the top level authoritative body for the University Data Governance Program and its activities. The Executive Steering Group provides high level oversight and helps ensure program alignment with university wide strategic plans, procures resources and approves large-scale initiatives and resolves significant issues that have been escalated by the Data Governance Council. In addition, the Executive Steering Group reviews and approves changes to new and existing university regulations in relation to data governance initiatives or recommends them to the appropriate individual or body to do so. The Senior Vice Provost for UDA advises the data and analytics group as an ex officio member.

The Executive Steering Group members are:

• Krista Walton – Vice Chancellor for Research and Innovation
• Marc Hoit – Vice Chancellor for Information Technology & Chief Information Officer
• McKinney Austin – Interim Senior Vice Provost for University Data and Analytics (ex officio)
